Kadaga meets the Busoga Consortium for DevelopmentIsaac Nsengiyunva
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister For East Africa Community Affairs in Uganda and also Woman Member of Parliament Kamuli District Rt Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has this morning chaired a meeting at the Ministry’s main boardroom with the Heads of Organs of Busoga Consortium For Development. A meeting which started with an opening prayer, one of the key highlights was the most agricultural produce from Busoga and exports for produce from the region. The Woman Member of Parliament representing Kamuli District was also bought up to speed by the members of the consortium that sweet potato has huge market in Egypt if processed well. Rt Hon Kadaga further gave the members an update on projects Government intends to invest in the region. she however told the members that due to Covid-19 pandemic, some projects had kick started in high gear but then the slowness observed was caused by the current situation however she assured the meeting that everything was still on course.
