UGANDA SECURES PAVILION FOR COP28 IN UAE
Relatedly, the first Global Stocktake Report 2023 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change under the Paris Agreement recognizes efforts by parties to limit the temperature through their pledged commitments.
Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga (MP) was this morning officially addressing the #COP28 Preparatory Forum in readiness for Uganda presentations at the Dubai Meeting. The woman member of Parliament for Kamuli district recalls that the Conference of the Parties (COP) is the supreme decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and is charged with reviewing the national communications and emission inventories submitted by parties.
COP28 will be convened from November 30th to December 12th 2023 at Ecpo City Dubai.
