Joint Communique of the 8th Ordinary Session of the Joint Permanent Commission
At the invitation of the Government of Democratic Republic of Congo, The 1stDPM|Minister for Ministry of East African Community Affairs Uganda – MEACA Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga (MP) who led the ministerial delegation from Uganda, penned a signature on a joint Communique of the 8th Ordinary Session of the Joint Permanent Commission between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Government of the Republic of Uganda which was held in DRC from 12th -14th October year of our Lord 2023.
Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga in her singular capacity and on behalf of her entire delegation, thanked the minister of State His Excellency Antipas Mbusa Nyamwisi, the government and the people of DRC for the warm welcome extended to the Uganda delegation.
The discussions took place in a spirit of peace and brotherly understanding. the two parties agreed to meet in Kampala to hold the 9th Session of the Joint Permanent Commission on a date that will be communicated through diplomatic channels.
