The Permanent Secretaries of ministries of the East African Community, those from other ministries, and technical officers within the East African Community having spent the day deliberating on different item agendas, having discussed and satisfied with the outcome, the Coordination Committee members of the East African Community unanimously signed the report.
In the presence of the EAC newly appointed Secretary General, H.E Veronica Mueni Nduva, CBS, the Deputy Secretary General, Infrastructure, Productive and Political Sections Hon. Adv. Beny Gideon Mabor presented the signed report to the 1DPM/Minister for EAC Uganda Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga. The minister received the report, heard a few advisory comments from the members, and later adjourned the sunset meeting to tomorrow for further deliberations on the report.
Rt.Hon. Rebecca Kadaga led the Uganda delegation comprised of ministers, permanent secretaries, and technical officers from different MDAs’ for the 54th Extra Ordinary Meeting of Council.
