Enhance Regional Cooperation
The 1stDPM|Minister for EAC- Uganda Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga (MP) arrived in Nairobi capital of the republic of Kenya and chaired an inter-ministerial preparatory meeting ahead of the anticipated President Yoweri Museveni’s two days External State visit to the Republic of Kenya where he’s expected to meet his counterpart of the Republic of Kenya. the purpose of the government of Uganda preparatory meeting was to picture out major issues contained in the communique. Present were Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, and technical offices of:
- Ministry of EAC –Uganda
- Ministry of Internal Affairs
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development
- Ministry of Agriculture, Animal, industry and fisheries
- Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development
- Ministry of Trade Industry and Cooperatives where present and
- Uganda Development Cooperation was present to finalize discussions on Uganda’s stand on the issues at hand.
